The nose is fruity, intense, elegant and offers a beautiful finesse. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and slight notes of raspberry jam associated with a hint of black cherry, rose, toasted oak as well as small touches of spice and a hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, suave, well-balanced, gourmand and offers minerality, a good density, tension, freshness as well as a beautiful silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam, cassis and slight notes of chocolate associated with a touch of raspberry, cherry, licorice as well as touches of toasted oak and a very discreet touch of almond (in the background). Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length and persistence with fruity notes and toasted notes.
