The nose is elegant, powerful and offers intensity as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild strawberry and small notes of grey pepper associated with touches of small crushed blue fruits, raspberry as well as small notes of badiane/cloves and discreet hints of spices/tea. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/mineral frame, a good definition, gourmandize, tension as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy/crushed cassis and small notes of fleshy raspberry associated with a touch of crushed black plum as well as hints of chocolate, caramelization, clove and nutmeg.
