Château Trotanoy 2010 – Pomerol

Château Trotanoy 2010 – Pomerol

The nose is precise, elegant, franc and offers a certain delicacy as well as a stretchy side/another dimension. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, crushed cassis, small notes of ripe/fleshy small blue fruits associated with touches of violet, tea, dry lily as well as fine hints of bergamot, cardamom, fine hints of truffle and a discreet saline hint. The palate is fruity, full of finesse and offers juiciness, a good definition, gourmandize, a fine tension, power (full of delicacy), a certain richness (full of control/balance), a small acidulous frame, a beautiful finely unctuous matter, a beautiful wedding between elegant, finesse, richness and straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, raspberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of ripe cherry, quite ripe blueberry as well as fine hints of tea, bergamot, clove, nutmeg as well as discreet hints of trufle and underwood. Good length. Tannins are well-built and elegant. A very fine saline hint, notes of chocolat, a subtle hint of underwood and an imperceptible hint of caramelization/pink pepper on the finish.
