Château Trimoulet 2021 – Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

Château Trimoulet 2021 – Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

The nose is racy with some minerality, good definition and a very fine concentration of fruit. There are notes of fresh wild raspberry, blackberry and slightly fresh/juicy blackcurrant combined with hints of tobacco violet, a fine touch of zan, spice and a hint of cardamom. The palate is nicely managed, fresh, elegant, very discreetly tight and offers gourmandize as well as fresh/juicy fruit, sometimes even a little crisp. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/fresh blackberry, raspberry and more lightly violet notes combined with hints of dark berries as well as fine mocha/cocoa and a fine hint of toastiness. Good length. A fine touch of positive bitterness (in the background), a hint of roast (in the background) and black tea.
