Château Trapaud 2019 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity, racy and offers a very fine power as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of juicy/ripe wild cassis, small bright black fruit, small notes of ripe raspberry associated with fine touches of violet as well as discreet hints of black tea. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine grain, freshness, a fine tension, a small fat and a small roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, juicy blackberry, small notes of small black fruits associated with touches of violet, raspberry as well as subtle hints of lily, sense of the place, toasted and almond. Good length. Tannins are well-built, elegant and finely coating.
