The nose is fruity, fresh and quite intense. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and red fruit (redcurrant, strawberry, raspberry) associated with small notes of toasted oak as well as a touch of cassis, licorice and violet. The mouth is nicely fruity, mineral, balanced, fresh and offers a beautiful silky and slightly creamy matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, strawberry and raspberry combined with fine notes of cassis, dark berries, a touch of black cherries as well as small notes of spices, mocha, oak, black pepper and a touch of coffee. Tannins are fine and structuring. Good length and persistence (with notes of blackberry, coffee and oak).
