The nose is aromatic. It reveals notes of cassis, flowers and Sichuan pepper associated with touches of toasted oak, vanilla and spices. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, precise, straight, well-built, racy and offers tension, a small gourmandize as well as freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and more slightly fleshy/crushed redcurrant associated with small touches of vanilla, caramelizatio, cardamom as well as a very discreet hint of cocoa and almond on the finsih. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
