The nose is fruity, finely tight and offers a very fine intensity. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of cassis, red berries and more slightly Sichuan pepper associated with a small touch of flowers/violet, cherry as well as discreet hints of nutmeg/sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, juiciness, precision, a small fat, a beautiful finesse of the structure, tension, gourmandize as well as a fine acidulous/juicy frame. On the palate this wine expresses note of juicy/crunchy cassis, juicy/crunchy raspberry and more slightly juicy/crunchy red berries associated with a hint of blackberry, violet as well as discreet hints of liquorice, chocolate and a very discreet hint of caramelization/Bourbon vanilla (in the background). Tannins are elegant and supple.
