This wine has a beautiful ruby color with purple reflections. It is clear and shiny. The first nose is fruity with red and black fruits: strawberry, cherry. We also find minty freshness with mint and fresh grass just cut. After aeration, there are some notes of leather and vanilla. Alcohol is present as well as tomato juice. It’s well-balanced. The attack is round. We find flowers like the rose but also fruits and umami. The tannins are a little grippy on the tongue but smooth overall. We have black fruits like blackcurrant and blueberry but also cherries. The fruits are fresh but very ripe. The mid-palate is discreet and lets the fruit carry through to the finish.
