Château Tour Saint-Fort 2016 – Saint-Estèphe, Cru Bourgeois

The nose is fruity and offers a small concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of liquorice, spices associated with touches of wild strawberry, wild raspberry and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a fine mineral frame (racy minerality), a fine juiciness, suavity, a small fluidity as well as a very fine freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, wild cassis and small notes of violet associated with small touches of strawberry, small berries, zan as well as discreet hints of tonka bean, spices and mild tobacco. There are hints of chocolate on the finish/persistence.
