Château Tour Saint Christophe 2018 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fine, powerful and offers intensity, a racy minerality as well as a beautiful racy power. It reveals notes of cassis, wild strawberr, small wild fruits associated with a touchof small blue fruits as well as discreet hints of white pepper, fresh flowers and very discreet hints of spices. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a beautiful definition, power, juiciness, suavity, gourmandize, an acidulous frame, a beautiful finesse, a beautiful tension, a small saline minerality as well as a beautiful material. A multi-layers wine which requiers attention and work in the glass. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of crunchy/juicy strawberry associated with touches of juicy small berries, juicy blueberry as well as fine hints of liquorice, toasted, nutmeg and fresh flowers. Tannins are elegant and well-built. Good length. There is a fine chew on the finish. Gourmandize and suavity on the finish. A beautiful and gourmand wine !
