The nose is fruity and offers a racy power, a fine concentration, gourmandize as well as a good finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, violet and small notes of wild strawberry associated with very discreet hints of wild cassis, tonka bean, Sichuan pepper as well as a very discreet hint of spices. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, elegant, beautifully racy and offers a beautiful grain, an acidulous frame as well as minerality/freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, juicy/pulpy blackberry and small notes of ripe/juicy raspberry associated with a subtle hint of violet plum as well as very discreet hints of toasted almond and caramelization. Good length. Beautiful tannins on the finish.
