On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and small notes of fleshy / fresh raspberry associated with touches of dark chocolate / tonka bean, subtle touches of caramelized oak, subtle hints of flowers (in the background) as well as a discreet hint of cardamom and toasted hazelnut. Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length. The finish is (very) slightly tight. gourmandize and suavity on the finish. Fine chews on the finish / persistence.
