The nose is fruity, flowery, well-built and aromatic. It reveals notes of cassis, lilac, violet and more slightly raspberry associated with fine hints of blackberry, liquorice stick and spices. The palate is fruity, suave, well-balanced, gourmandize, a small tension, a good finesse of the grain as well as a beautiful juicy/finely acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, juicy raspberry and more slightly flowers (lilac, violet) associated with touches of juicy cherry, small red berries as well as hints of minerality, liquorice stick, mild tobacco and very discreet hints of toasted (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Good length. There are very discreet hints of cardamom and grilled on the finish/persistence.
