The nose is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers intensity. It reveals notes of wild strawberries, gravels (terroir) and slight notes of cassis, small fleshy red fruits / raspberry associated with touches of liquorice, a touch of Sichuan pepper as well as discreet hints of spices / tea and an imperceptible hint of caramelized oak. The mouth is mineral, fresh and offers a good guideline, a good definition, a slight suavity, straightness, tension as well as a slight acid frame (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of raspberry, fresh berries and slight notes of fresh blackberry combined with slight touches of gravels (terroir), Zan, slight toasted touches and sweet spices / tea. Tannins are well-built. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of chocolate / caramelization on the aftertaste.
