The nose is fruity and offers a good definition as well as a small power. It reveals notes of wild cassis, wild blueberry and small notes of liquorice associated with touches of crushed wild strawberry, violet, toasted, Sichuan pepper as well as a hint of camphor. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, a fine tension, suavity as well as a certain concentration and a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright wild cassis, bright wild blackberry, small notes of small black berries associated with touches of wild strawberry, black cherry, liquorice as well as hints of camphor, spices and a subtle hint of black pepper. Tannins are well-built and finely chewy. A subtle hint of toasted/caramelization on the finish/persistence. A very discreet hint of cocoa on the aftertaste.
