Château Toumalin 2021 – Canon-Fronsac

The nose is fruity, fresh and racy, shows an imprint of its terroir. There are notes of pulpy/juicy boysenberry, blackcurrant and more slightly violet combined with fine raspberry notes as well as fine hints of fresh flowers and a very discreet touch of fresh vanilla. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, balance, freshness, sapidity and a certain generosity of fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, fleshy raspberry and more slightly violet combined with hints of blueberry, juicy/pulpy blueberry, sense of place/terroir, fine vanilla tips as well as a discreet hint of fresh blond tobacco and a very discreet sapiness. The tannins are precise, mellow and well managed. Good length.
