Château Thieuley – Cuvée Francis Courselle 2018, Sauvignon – Semillon – Bordeaux Blanc

The nose offers gourmandize, a certain intensity, fruit, a small richness, a fine grain as well as a small oak influence. It reveals notes of Williams pear, pear flowers and small notes of lychee associated with small touches of apple flowers, oak, small white fruits as well as fine vanilla hints and discreet hints of citrus zest. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, fat and offers a mineral frame, a small richness, a certain delicacy, roundness, precision, minerality as well as a small linear side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of lychee, fleshy pear and small notes of crushed small white fruits associated with touches of apple, apple blossoms, verbena, very fine hints of lemon blossoms, oak, vanilla blossoms as well as a discreet hint of citrus (mandarin…) and toast. Good length. Presence of a discreet hint of crushed almond and almost a tannic hint on the finish / persistence.
