Château Thieuley – Cuvée Francis Courselle 2018 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is fruity and offers precision as well as structure. It reveals notes of cassis, wild blackberry and small notes of small berries associated with fine touchs of strawberry, fresh violet as well as a discreet hint of iris and subtle hints of liquorice. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, tension as well as a fresh frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, juicy/crunchy blackberry and small notes of crunchy/juicy raspberry associated with fine touches of flowers, liquorice as wella s a very discreet varietal hints. Tannins are well-built. Good length. Very fine hints of dark chocolate/cocoa and vanilla on the persistence/finish.
