The nose is racy and offers a small power as well as a fine intensity and a certain concentration. It reveals notes of strawberry, small crushed red berriesand small notes of cherry associated with touches of toasted, nutmeg and a very discreet hint of hazelnut. The palate is fruity, slightly tight, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness as well as a fine concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, crushed raspberry and small notes of crushed red berries associated with touches of violet, small bright blue berries as well as hints of lily, liquorice, vanilla pod, a discreet hint of tobacco and an imperceptible hint of bergamot. Good length. A subtle hint of caramelized oak in the finish/persistence.
