Château Tertre Roteboeuf 2018 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Château Tertre Roteboeuf 2018 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose offers a beautiful power (in subtility), finesse, deepness as well as delicacy, power and a beautiful ripe/fleshy/almost candied fruit (but full of control and keeping the acidity). It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, small fleshy/crushed black fruits, small notes of crushed redcurrant associated with fine touches of violet, almond/almond pod as well as fine hints of Cuben pepper, nutmeg, very discreet hints of violet fig, fine hints of sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of sense of the place. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous/juicy frame, a good definition, a beautiful gourmandize (in finesse), tension as well as a fine acidity, a fine richness and a beautiful raciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed/fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis, small notes of violet associated with touches of toasted, crushed raspberry as well as fine hints of warm/cooked black berries as well as hints of biscuits, toasted, almond/almond bog, a subtle hint of incense and chocolate. A beautiful persistence on hint of coffee and toasted hazelnut.
