The nose is fruity, gourmand and offers power. It reveals notes of wild strawberry, wild small fruits, cassis and blueberry combined with touches of gravels (terroir), Zan, sweet spices, vanilla as well as a discreet hint of Cuben pepper, chocolate truffle, coffee / roasting and grilled almond. The palate is fruity, well balanced, racy and offers a beautiful delicacy, a beautiful structure, a nice grain, precision, a nice fat as well as a slight straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, crushed blackberry, crushed wild strawberry and slight touches of black cherry, crushed raspberry combined with touches of caramelized oak, Zan and subtle touches of chocolate. Tannins are well-built, fine, elegant and supple. Good length and beautiful persistence. A solar wine marked by the terroir.
