The nose is aromatic and reveals power, finesse and a fine creaminess in freshness. There are notes of creamy blackberry, ripe strawberry and slightly blueberry with hints of vanilla, crushed red berries and delicate hints of fresh tobacco, cardamom and a subtle touch of vanilla. The palate is mineral, balanced and reveals fruit, elegance, good definition, freshness, acidity, tension, precision and a good, relatively powerful structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, violet and more slightly tart/juicy blackcurrant combined with hints of violet plum, creamy red berries as well as fine varietal notes, vanilla and a hint of chocolate. The tannins are well managed. Good length.
