The nose reveals notes of cassis, wild berries and iris/lilac associated with small notes of blackberry, crushed strawberry as well as fine touches of spices and a discreet hint of cumin. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a good definition as well as a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes juicy blackberry, crushed cassis and more slightly black cherry, juicy small wild berries associated with hints of zan, mocha as well as subtle touches of coffee and iris/flowers. Tannins are well-built and slightly firm. Good length. There is a hint of nut/fresh almond on the finish/persistence.(2022+)
