The nose is aromatic, elegant, racy, precise and offers a fine gourmandize, straightness as well as a beautiful grain. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and small notes of crunchy red fruits, racy minerality (gravels/Graves), flowers (in the background) associated with a hint of fresh menthol, graphite as well as subtle hints of toasted almond and caramel. The palate is fruity, juicy, full, wel-balanced, elegant, well-built, racy, beautifully fresh and offers a beautiful fullness, a beautiful dynamism/vivacity, a beautiful precision/definition, a beautiful grain as well as a beautiful material very slightly unctuous. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy boysenberry, crunchy/juicy cassis and small notes of crunchy wild strawberry, juicy red berries associated with fine touches of violet, flowers, small touches of caramel (in the background), a very discreet hint of black berries (in the background) as well as a subtle hint of Sichuan pepper, cocoa, toasted oak and spices. Tannins are well-built.
