The nose is elegant, racy, complex, precise and offers a fine richness, a fine freshness as well as a small strict side. It reveals notes of ripe apple, peach, blackberry and more slightly citrus, grapefruit’s mesocarpe (white part) associated with subtle touches of gravels (Graves)/minerality (in the background), a very discreet hint of gray pepper, toasted, ripe exotic fruits (in the background) as well as an imperceptible hint of wild flowers/ fennel grain (in the background) and a very fine iodine sensation. The palate is fruity, juicy, gourmand, elegant, slightly tight and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful structure, an acidulous frame, a beautiful fat, a beautiful precision, a beautiful definition, freshness as well as a beautiful fullness. On the palate this wine expresses notes crushed white fruits, fleshy peach and more slightly citrus associated with touches of grapefruit’s mesocarpe (white part), a subtle hint of zest, quenette, a very discreet hint of exotic fruits (in the background), a fine touches of toasted, caramelization as well as a small hint of salinity and a touch of almond/fresh nut. There are hints of vanilla and salinity on the aftertaste.
