The nose is elegant and offers power, a good finesse of the grain, a good aromatic power as well as freshness. It reveals notes of ripe/fresh cassis, fleshy/ripe black cherry and small notes of ripe/fresh raspberry associated with small touches of strawberry associated with small touches of strawberry as well as fine hints of violet, liquorice and chocolate. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a fine juicy frame, tension, precision, a racy minerality as well as a good finesse of the structure of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe/fresh cassis and small notes of blackberry associated with touches of black cherry, ripe/juicy red berries, very fine hints of violet, racy minerality as well as discreet hints of chocolate, liquorice, a subtle hint of toasted almond and a very discreet hint of caramelization on the finish. Tannins are elegant and well-built. Good length. Good, gourmande and suave persistence.
