Château Sérilhan 2017 – Saint-Estèphe

The nose is aromatic, gourmand and offers a fine freshness as well as concentration. It reveals notes of fleshy boysenberry, crushed cassis and liquorice associated with small notes of fleshy raspberry, Sichuan pepper, violet as well as discreet touches of chocolate (in the background). The palate is fresh, juicy, mineral, well-balanced, precise, racy, elegant, well-defined and offers a good definition, an acid frame, power, suavity, a very fine unctuosity as well as concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy strawberry and fresh/ripe redcurrant associated with fine touches of flowers, Sichuan pepper as well as very discreet hints of racy minerality and an imperceptible hint of almond.
