The nose is aromatic and a bit gourmand. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and fine floral notes combined with notes of toasted bread and notes of toasted oak. The palate is fresh, balanced, elegant, relatively fat, relatively fleshy and offers tension, a precise fruit, a racy minerality (terroir) as well as dense and slightly unctuous matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam and cassis combined with a touch of blueberry, slight notes of strawberry jam, a fine hint of raspberry as well as a fine touch of chocolate, sweet spices (vanilla, mocha) and toasted oak. Tannins are fine and well built. Good length.
