Château Saransot-Dupré 2017 – Listrac-Médoc

The nose is aromatic and offers a fine intensity. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and subtle touches of fleshy cassis associated with touches of fleshy strawberry, discreet hints of spices as well as very discreet hints of pepper and Lapsang Souchong tea (in the background). The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, ample and offers fat, finesse, a small freshness, a good volume, fullness, a fine acid frame as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy strawberry, juicy raspberry and more slightly juicy blackberry associated with fine touches of sweet spices and vanilla.
