The wine shows a medium ruby colour with a light garnet hue. The nose is already developed, slightly oxidative, revealing nuances of cherry liqueur, bramble, combined with a touch of chocolate and cacao powder. The wines needs time to open up. The palate is juicy and intense, with powerful alcohol, intense fruit concentration and bold, grippy tannins. The wine opens up with nuances of kirsch, overripe red and black cherries, a touch of bramble, dried herbs and sweet spices. A bold and muscular wine with long but still astringent finish.
