The nose offers concentration and maturity. It expresses notes of plum, morello cherry, strawberry with a hint of spices (white pepper, liquorice). In log form, the wine is a little tight and less expressive. We find notes of red cherry, strawberry, morello cherry and a slightly peppery touch, with bitterness in the background. The tannins are rather fine. Beautiful salivating acidity. A closed wine at the moment, but with juiciness and fruit.
