The nose is aromatic, structured and elegant. It reveals notes of blackberry and cassis associated with a slight touch of cassis bud, plum, with discreet notes of toasted oak as well as a discrete hint of Sichuan pepper and spices. The palate is fruity, soft, velvety and offers juiciness and a fine minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, cassis and slight notes of strawberry associated with hints of black cherry, a fine hint of salinity as well as slight notes of vanilla / toasted oak on the finish. Tannins are fine. The finish is suave. I advice you to serve this wine in carafe.
