Château Saint-Pierre 2021 – Pomerol

Château Saint-Pierre 2021 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity and reveals a certain delicacy and freshness. There are hints of pulpy/blushing cherry, blackcurrant and slightly pulpy/fresh blackberry combined with subtle hints of violet, Cuben pepper and subtle hints of zan, spice and an almost smoky quality. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, minerality, definition, a certain gourmandize, acidity, tension and a certain straightness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, fleshy/juicy blackberry and, more slightly, blackcurrant, combined with hints of blueberry, lily, fine zaniness and a discreet touch of toast and mocha. A fine graphite quality in the background. Good length.
