Château Saint-Esprit – Prestige 2015 – Côtes de Provence

The nose is aromatic as well as relatively powerful and elegant. It reveals notes of strawberry, blackberry and raspberry associated with discreet hints of crushed cassis, spices as well as a very discreet hint of white pepper and an imperceptible hint of mocha. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly gourmand, slightly fleshy and offers suavity, an acid frame as well as a slight freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy strawberry and raspberry associated with slight notes of redcurrant, blackberry, plum, woody hints as well as slight notes of liquorice and a discreet toasted hint. Tannins are fine, well-built and young. Good length and persistence on crunchy red fruits as well as a slight acidity (of red fruits).
