Château Rouget 2020 – Pomerol

Château Rouget 2020 – Pomerol

The flowery nose with some intensity and a fine power. We perceive notes of violet, iris and small notes of pulpy ious fresh blackberries associated with touches of fresh blackcurrant as well as slight hints of fresh tobacco and small notes of cubeb pepper and a discreet hint of graphite. The palate is mineral with freshness and good definition. It has an acid frame with a certain juiciness and tension. Some fattiness accompanies notes of juicy and pulpy blackberries, bright cassis and small notes of black plums associated with touches of small crushed red berries, zan, mocha as well as hints of fresh tobacco and a subtle almost sappy hint. We perceive a very discreet note of torrefaction. Good length, nice freshness and minerality.
