Château Rouget 2015 – Pomerol

Château Rouget 2015 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity, relatively fine, elegant and offers a certain intensity. It reveals notes of wild berries, blackberry and slight notes of cherry associated with slight notes of cherry tail and strawberry. The palate is fruity, gourmand, mineral, relatively generous and offers tension, precision, a beautiful definition, a good texture as well as a beautiful and unctuous matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam, raspberry and cassis combined with slight notes of Quetsche plum, touches of toasted oak as well as slight notes of Zan, flowers and a hint of tobacco. Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length. There is a fine touch of liquorice on the persistance.
