Château Roquegrave 2021 – Médoc Cru Bourgeois

Château Roquegrave 2021 – Médoc Cru Bourgeois

The nose is fresh, revealing fresh/juicy fruit and a fine floral character. There are notes of fresh/juicy blackcurrant and more lightly crunchy red berries combined with fine touches of racy minerality, fresh nutmeg and a discreet hint of violets and fresh pepper. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, crispness, volume, a racy minerality and tension. On the palate this wine expresses crisp blackberry: fresh, raspberry as well and more lightly cherry notes combined with a touch of violet, lily, racy minerality as well as fine varietal hints (in the background) and a subtle hint of zan/bergamot. Good length.
