Château Rollan de By 2019 – Médoc

The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers deepness, a small richness/power and a beautiful definition. It reveals notes of fleshy strawberry, fleshy cassis, small notes of cuben pepper associated with touches of liquorice, graphite, pulpy/fresh blueberry as well as hints of violet, cocoa and spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers tension, a mineral frame, a good definition, fat and pulpiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fleshy cassis, wild raspberry, small notes of small crushed black berries associated with touches of pulpy wild strawberry, violet/lilac as well as hints of pulpy violet plum, graphite, chocolate, toasted, sweet spices and toasted almond/hazelnut.
