The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a fine crunchiness, minerality as well as fine spices. We find notes of juicy/ripe boysenberry, fresh/juicy blackcurrant and small notes of wild red fruits associated with fine touches of lily, star anise as well as a subtle hint of fresh pepper (in the background), saffron (on its floral side) and bergamot. The palate is fruity and offers a beautiful definition, suavity, an acidulous frame, silkiness, gourmandise as well as brightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackcurrant, crunchy cherry and small notes of fresh red berries associated with touches of fresh flowers as well as fine hints of fresh pepper and a hint of infusion/bergamot. Tannins are sapid, supple and subtly sappy. A very discreet hint of cocoa in the background.
