Château Rochemorin 2020 – Pessac-Léognan

Château Rochemorin 2020 – Pessac-Léognan

The wine has a pale lemon color. The nose is expressive, very fresh and lemony. We first find a lot of citrus fruits (yellow lemon, lemon zest, grapefruit), crunchy stone fruits (white peach) as well as a tangy note of passion fruit. Then, the wine expresses sweet aromas of vanilla, ripe apricot, apple blossom and honey. On the palate, the wine is chiselled and lively. The flavors are bright and expressive: they reflect the citrus freshness that we have on the nose (grapefruit juice, lemon, lemon zest), but also have a nice roundness in the mid-palate thanks to the notes of yellow fruits and juicy exotic fruits (fresh pineapple, white peach, apricot). In the long finish there are also notes of green apple, a slight hint of honey and a refreshing bitterness of grapefruit and crunchy acidity. A beautiful concentration, a balanced wine, of a fresh style and with a lot of energy.
