The nose is fruity, slightly tight and offers concentration/power as well as a very fine richness. This wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of cassis, wild raspberry and small notes of green pepper associated with discreet hints of small fruits, spices and very discreet toasted hints/chocolate. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a juicy/mineral frame, gourmandize as well as a fine richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy cassis, juicy/fleshy blackberry and small notes of juicy/fresh small red fruits associated with very fine touches of chocolate, caramelization, toasted as well as an imperceptible hint of cardamom. Tannins are well-built and elegant. Good persistence (with notes of chocolate).
