The nose is fresh, elegant, racy and offers a certain depth. It reveals notes of citrus, dried lemon and small notes of dried mandarin, associated with touches of small crunchy fruits, fine hints of small ripe yellow fruits, as well as fine hints of sweet spices, almost eucalyptus. The palate is mineral, fruity, fresh, melodious, it offers airy, melodious fatness, elegance, a tangy frame, energy and good definition. The palate stretches out slowly and offers an enveloping side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of quenette, crunchy green peach and small notes of crushed brugnon, combined with touches of crushed physalis, as well as fine hints of pineapple in syrup, fine hints of almost acacia/eucalyptus and fresh spices. Nice little chewiness and a hint of dried apricot on the finish/persistence. There’s also a pastry/almost biscuity finish and a iodized side in the background, even pearlescence. A fine tannic side to the approach.
