The nose is fruity and offers creaminess, a certain depth, balance as well as a powerful and relatively airy grain. It reveals notes of creamy blackberry, vanilla and slight notes of ripe blackcurrant associated with touches of crushed cherry, lilac, hints of crushed red berries as well as a hint of graphite, salinity and toast. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, an acid frame, minerality, precision and a certain finesse. A fine condensed/tight side in the mouth in its substance. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/tangy blackberry, creamy blackcurrant and slight notes of fresh/tangy strawberry associated with touches of juicy/tangy berries, violet, star anise, fine hints of graphite, a discreet hint of sappy, chocolate and vanilla. The tannins are supple. Sapidity and tension on the persistent finish.
