Château Richelieu 2018 – Fronsac

The nose is aromatic, racy and offers elegance, gourmandize as well as a small intensity/power. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe blackberry and small notes of violet associated with small touches of vanilla, racy minerlaity, toasted as well as discreet hints of spices and a hint of ripe almond. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, precision, elegance, juiciness, gourmandize, a racy minerality, precision as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe cassis, juicy/ripe blackberry and small notes of juicy red fruits associated with a touch of juicy blueberry, violet, vanilla as well as very fine hints of almond and toasted. Tannins are precise and elegant. There is an imperceptible hint of grilled bread and cocoa on the persistence.
