Château Reynon 2014 – Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is fruity, finely aromatic, well-balanced and offers a fine richness, a beautiful elegance and a very fine richness (in the background). It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, blueberry, cassis and strawberry associated with a hint of cornflower, strawberry, spices as well as an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper, caramelization / toasted oak and chocolate. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice definition, volume, gourmandise, a fine acid frame, a fine straightness, fat, a good “guideline”, a fine elegance and minerality. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, cassis and black cherry combined with a hint of fleshy / crushed blueberry, strawberry, licorice, toasted oak, chocolate as well as a subtle hint of vanilla. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
