The nose is fresh and racy. There are notes of violet, blackcurrant and, to a lesser extent, racy minerality combined with touches of pulpy cherry as well as a fine touch of zan, graphite and discreet hints of spice. The palate is fruity and reveals minerality, freshness, juiciness, freshness, roundness, volume and a fine, controlled richness. On the palate, this wine expresses pulpy blackberry, fleshy/pulpy raspberry and more slightly violet notes combined with hints of graphite, fleshy cherry as well as fine mocha notes, a subtle hint of mocha, toastiness, a very discreet hint of racy minerality and varietal aromas. The tannins are fine and mellow.
