Château Renard Mondésir 2018 – Fronsac

The nose is fruity and offers a fine power, a small creaminess, a fine freshness as well as intensity. It reveals notes of cassis cream, crushed blackberry, small notes of strawberry associated with small touches of chocolate, liquorice stick as well as a hint of green cardamom, a very fine hint of black tea, an imperceptible hint of pepper and Badiane. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a fine acidulous frame as well as a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, blackberry cream, small notes of crushed raspberry associated with small touches of blueberry, violet as well as fine hints of liquorice stick, tonka bean and an imperceptible hint of bergamot (in the background).
