The nose is fruity, slightly tight and offers concentration. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, cassis, crushed wild strawberry and ripe cherry combined with a touch of colas, sweet spices, cardamom, caramelized oak as well as a very discreet / imperceptible hint of undergrowth. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a nice mineral frame, a fine juiciness and suppleness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and fine touches of cassis associated with a touch of cherry, licorice, tobacco / cardamon and a subtle hint of spices. Tannins are well-built. There is a subtle hint of vanilla and coconut on the aftertaste.
