Château Reignac 2015 – Bordeaux

(80% Sauvignon Blanc, 10% Sémillon, 10% Sauvignon Gris) The nose is fruity, gourmand, elegant, relatively powerful and offers precision. It reveals notes of citrus (lemon, clementine, grapefruit) and a hint of pineapple associated with discreet notes of Granny Smith apple, zest as well as fine touches of quenette and exotic fruits. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, relatively fat and offers minerality, freshness, a beautiful definition, a beautiful maturity, and a beautiful matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of citrus (lemon, tangerine) and slight notes of pineapple associated with a hint of pear, discreet hints of passion fruit (in the background) and quenette. Good length and persistence.
